In this episode, 3 dance teachers were judges to pick out the dance style that the didis seem to specialize in.
The 3 dance teachers were 巧克力老師, 佳玲老師 and 柏均老師. When they were being introduced, I was wondering why the first dance teacher, who was light-skinned, called himself chocolate. It so happened that 范范 asked the question that was on my mind. Haha! I seemed to be thinking the same as 范范. =P It turned out that he liked to eat chocolates. -_-"
4 groups, each consisting of 3 didis, performed 4 different dance styles, POPPING, LOCKING, REGGAE and BREAKING.
The first part was to promote the dance style by introducing their slogans. The POPPING group, consisted of 凡弟, 小樂 and 阿MAN. Their slogan was rather slow but okay. The LOCKING group, consisted of 阿良, 小小 and 虎牙. Their slogan was rather lame. Their outfits looked like they were sailors. O_o The REGGAE group, consisted of 小淳, YOYO and 賤兔. Their slogan was the lamest and coldest of all. The BREAKING group, consisted of 小槿, 丸子 and 小龍. Their slogan was funny but lacked a little co-ordination. Haha.
The second part was the solo dance performance. The order of performance was 阿MAN, 凡弟, 小樂, 小小, 阿良, 虎牙, 賤兔, YOYO, 小淳, 小槿, 丸子, 小龍. 小小's solo was funny when he needed assistance to recover from his split. The judges gave then gave their comments. Apparently 巧克力老師 is 小龍's teammate. He was cued to show a small performance. 小樂 revealed that the REGGAE group was supposed to be JAZZ dance style. 小龍 used 丸子 as his speaker to taunt the other groups. Haha.
The third part was the group dance performance. The POPPING group was not really co-ordinated. It was pretty much 小樂 as the main dancer while the other 2 followed his actions, with some lag. Their final statement was that learning POPPING will make you cool. The LOCKING group was much more co-ordinated, although 小小 forgot some dance moves. The REGGAE group was the most co-ordinated, although 賤兔 was dancing in the wrong direction at one point. The BREAKING group was a trio that incorporated solo and pair performances. However, 小槿 was seen to have lost his rhythm at some point of the dance. 柏均老師 was cued to demonstrate a bit of BREAKING. I feel that the punishment that 小龍 gives is rather unnecessary.
At the end, the LOCKING group was declared the best.
Pretty good episode. Although does it mean that all the didis have to learn LOCKING now? They probably scrapped the BREAKING lessons...
