In this episode, the didis decide on how to spend the TWD$3600(SGD$158) given by the government. I think it's something like our GST offset package in Singapore?
At the start, there were 3 questions, each with 3 answers. The didis had to pick out the wrong answer. The 3 answers to each question were acted out by 阿本, 毛弟 and 小祿. They would personify themselves as characters from teletubbies and Death Note. The teletubbies one was quite embarrassing and silly but nonetheless funny. Haha. There was a guest on the set too, who helped to clarify queries with regards to the government subsidy.
The didis were then asked what they would do with the TWD$3600 on a personal level. 阿杰 wrote to eat for 200 days, considering that 1 packet of instant noodles cost TWD$6, so he could purchase 600 packets. At 3 meals a day, it would last for 200 days. He was pretty funny when he said that at the end he would end up as a mummy due to overconsumption of instant noodles. YOYO wanted a massage chair, but at the amount given, he probably can just get a few massage sticks. 伊籐 could get away with a new wig.
There were 3 tour agents with the 3 senior didis marketing their tour packages to the didis.
The first was 2 days/1 night trip to Taiwan's Penghu islands for TWD3600.
The second was 2 days/1 night trip to Hong Kong for TWD$3600+500.
The third was 4 days/3 nights trip to Korea for TWD$3600+1399.
I must say that 阿本 went crazy when he was promoting Penghu islands. He destroyed the picture boards after using them. Even the tour agent went a little crazy with him. Haha.
All the didis chose Korea, except for 阿杰, who wanted Penghu islands. It seems that the whole crew would be going to Korea after Chinese New Year and some episodes would be filmed there.
I really anticipate these overseas episodes. =) On a side note, 小龍 was absent from this episode.
