YOYO, why are you still sitting?
In this episode, the didis challenged some celebrities in singing and dancing for solo and group/duet categories. 牛奶, 林志炫 and 范范 were both the didis' competitors and judges. To give the didis a chance of winning, the celebrities' score is moderated by a percentage from the total score of 30.
This did not make much sense to me as whatever the celebrities perform, their score is 30, only to be affected by the percentage of moderation that they pick out of a box after their performance. Besides, they are the ones who give the scores for the didis. It was a biased scoring system that favoured the celebrities from the start. 小香's head was on the stake if the didis won the celebrities.
The first round was the solo dance category, whereby it was a teacher versus student match. 牛奶 vs 阿良. The leather jacket that 阿良 was wearing is actually 牛奶's. 牛奶's score was 27 after moderation while 阿良 was given 26. -_-" Poking fun?
The second round was the group dance category, whereby 牛奶's friends, 阿MAY, 小欣 and 熊, were the didis' competitors. It was revealed that the opening dance for season 2 was choreographed by 阿MAY老師. 阿MAN was complimented while 小小 was ridiculed. YOYO, 小樂 and 丸子 represented the didis. They were specialized in different styles of dancing so 牛奶 wanted to see a combination of dance styles. However, they performed mostly Michael Jackson's POPPIN moves, which 小樂 was pretty comfortable with. YOYO and 丸子 were clearly the opposite though. What the judges were expecting was not given, I was kind of upset too as YOYO and 丸子 could not express their own dance styles. They were complimented on their group outfits and 阿良 was shot for borrowing 牛奶's leather jacket. Haha. The scores were 24 to 22, the didis losing again.
The third round was the solo singing category, whereby 林志炫老師 was up against ABC. ABC sang wrong lyrics at the start of the song. Not good as it would be almost impossible to cover up the mistake, unless the judges were not familiar with the song lyrics, since it was a slow song. The scores were 27 to 23, yet again the didis lost.
The last round was the duet singing category. 林志炫 and 范范's duet of "Endless Love" was up against 伊籐 and 小樂's "安靜". I actually felt that the electric guitar was a little inappropriate, a non-electric one would have suited the atmosphere better. At the beginning, 小樂 was slightly rushing, causing 伊籐 to strum his guitar to 小樂's pace instead of 小樂 following the guitar's pace. Their pronounciation was much better than Jay Chou's though, although there were some words such as "多" being pronounced as "tuo" instead of "duo". Good effort nonetheless. The scores were 24 to 26, the didis finally won. 小香's head was suppose to roll but he made a rather crude joke about a different head. YOYO should participate more, he was the only didi seated while all the other didis were standing, shouting for 小香's head to roll.
I know that I have been quite a critic in this summary, probably because I didn't have a good rest yesterday night and I'm feeling a bit moody today. Sorry to anyone who does not agree with my point of view of this episode. On a side note, 虎牙, 坦克 and 繩子 were absent from this episode.
